Making a decision for care is not always easy. There is much to consider. We understand that each care option comes with its own pros and cons. Costs for home care, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and adult day services vary and are all very different.

Home care offers personalized, one-to-one social, physical, and cognitive support care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)

Nursing homes offer private rooms and semi-private rooms, each at different costs with additional charges for various services, including meals. No one on one care.

Assisted living facilities are a community-like setting for people who can no longer live independently without help. You may not age in place should you need more care.

Adult day services are drop-in centers typically open on weekdays during daytime hours. Not an option when 24-hour care is needed.
Considering each care option, ask about caregiver to client ratio, how personalized services are for the individual. Consider the level of independence for the person receiving each type of long-term care and how this matches with their personality.
The cost of using a home care company varies based on the services provided and the number of hours required. Typically, hourly costs go down as the number of hours increases, and fees go up when more skill is needed or desired.
I want to thank and highlight Christine and Heaven’s Hands Home Care astounding care with our mother. Christine’s love and care reminded us how blessed we were. We consider her apart of our family and want her to know she is always welcome here. We miss her already. She was so great with mom and always had a way of redirecting and prioritizing the tasks ahead. She is an asset to your company.
It was consoling to have an emotionally supportive network in our corner when mom was put on hospice. We were so fortunate to have Christine as she was so exceptionally persistent, devoted and patient with her. Mom was very stubborn at times but Christine always had her way of getting her to cooperate.
